About me

My name is Debbie Samuelson.

I’m an out of the box thinker.

My advantage in being your partner comes from years of navigating the varying cultures, people and politics of both corporations and small boutique companies as a creative executive and hands on creative producer. That adaptability and resilience of working collaboratively in teams and one on one in high stress situations is a testament to my skill as a creative problem solver and big picture thinker in complex situations. This singular experience is what informs my approach to coaching and what will bring great value to our working partnership.

Throughout my career I’ve partnered with companies such as The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, Geffen and Columbia Records, WSJ and T, The New York Times Style Magazine, Vanity Fair and boutique companies where I’ve built and run divisions, developed and supported artists and connected them with projects that propelled their careers forward.

I am a CTA Certified Coach. CTA is a program certified by the International Federation of Coaches.

From Colleagues
“I worked with Debbie back in the day at the dawn of the video age, when she was doing video at Columbia Records. She has an unerring and remarkable eye for spotting new talent, in film, video and photography. After we worked together all those years ago, I have continued to seek out her council. She’s one of the few people I go to for advice when looking for visual imagery of any type. She has my highest recommendation.”
